Cristie Did Not Address That Ball on the 12th Hole

Cristie thought it was the wind. I thought it was gravity. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that when I watched it over and over on my DVD recording, the TV camera was moving as if it were being blown slightly. I also thought it might have been a hand held camera. Cristie seems to be confirming that it was windy.

Wind, gravity, either way, that is way too "iffy" and uncertain to penalize somebody even 1 stroke, let alone 2.

But you know what? Cristie's got to move on ... and so do we. You live, you learn, you die. We ain't dead yet, so maybe we all learned something.

One thing that I have learned is that having to look at video to decide whether to penalize somebody is ridiculous. Have a rules official at every hole. And don't say the LPGA can't come up with 18 officials.
