Team Commitments for Dow GLBI Pouring In

We are just two weeks away from the playing of the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, and the team commitments are now pouring in.

Here are the 48 confirmed teams (there will be a total of 72 teams).

Didn't even know they were doing this.

How are the doing the scoring and what type of play?

I don't remember the order, but they will play rounds of alternate shot and best ball the first two rounds and repeat the last two rounds. It mirrors the first 4 rounds of the Solheim Cup. They will use the actual scores. The winners will be lowest scores for the four days. With 72 teams, I would guess there is no cut.

Juli is very anxious to see how her Solheim team fare in this tourney. She will probably fill the USA team based on the results here. She will definitely use the results in naming the pairs for the Solheim Cup.

I didn't analyze the pairings which include European team members, but there are a number of those whose results could help Matthew make out her lineups.

There is a cut to 36 teams after the second day.
