Contests: Joint 3rd place overall winner 2009.
| Q-School Results 2009 LPGA QUALIFIER RESULTS A couple players stuck out to me: Amanda Blumenherst, arguably the most highly touted going into Q-School, came through capturing medalist honors. Mariajo Uribe also is in fully exempt for 2010. Three European Tour standouts: Tania Elosegul, Gwladys Nocera and Iben Tinning will have full priveliges on the LPGA Tour for the first time. Former Duke standout Liz Janangelo will have another shot to prove herself full time on the LPGA Tour. 38-year-old Nicole Jeray is back on the LPGA Tour full time after bouncing back and forth between the LPGA and the Futures Tour and battling narcolepsy (which apparently is not a laughing matter). |

Q-School from a family member's perspective....nerve racking, gut wrenching, aspirin taking, pepto bismol needing, 5 rounds over 6 days, lifetime moment. There were tears, laughter, and more text messaging than I have ever done before. Some of us lost 5 pounds, and some of us gained 5 pounds. I have never looked at the computer screen more intensely. Just waiting for the next hole's scores to be shown. I'm sure that that scenario was very similar for all the other family members of the players trying to qualify. Congratulations to not only the players who earned their card, but also to those that didn't. It is an accomplishment to get to the final stage of Q-School.

Blue, Unfortunately I had to work, so I was unable to be there. So, physically I wasn't there, but mentally, I was there for every hole. It is harder to watch the computer screen's live scoring, than it is to watch in person. At least in person, you know what is happening. When you have to wait for the "live scoring" to be posted, your mind can get the best of you. Anyway, I can't wait for the 2010 season. I will do my best be to keep you updated as much as I can from my perspective. |

Fair play to Julieta Granada for doing so well.
