It is said that money can't buy happiness but don't tell Lydia Ko that, she knows better, because money, mostly other people's money, allowed her to travel the globe playing golf as an amateur.

Lydia Ko chosen top women's amateur golfer for 3rd year - ESPN

Well, she could hardly do it with her own money, could she ?

It appears to be money well spent,as she has demonstrated, yet again, that not only can she hang with the best players in the world, but she can also beat most of them on a regular basis.

You have to embrace the Ko dynasty,fella...

I am not sure what you are complaining about, my post seems clear enough.
If you asked me what I thought of Lydia Ko today, without other people's money (outside of family), which has allowed her to travel the globe playing golf, I would probably say, Lydia who? You would say, oh you know, that young amateur in NZ who keeps winning amateur events in Australia and NZ.

I thought she don't care about the money? But why is it that she's selling some of her memorabilias?

OK, everyone step away from Lydia Ko, stay calm, her turning pro or not turning pro has no bearing on your life, her money,, whether earned, donated or found on the street is not your concern, tournaments she enters, doesn't enter, is invited to or not invited to will not disrupt your daily routine in the least. It's all good. She plays a wonderful game of golf, is personable, and will be good for the LPGA. In a few years time when she's winning tournaments as an LPGA pro will she be wondering what all the fuss was about when she was a teenager? Doubtful. Will other people still be wringing their hands about it? Probable.

Cristie Kerr said it best, Lydia should have turned pro a year ago.

Well, perhaps I'll forward my post to Ms. Kerr also.
