Both of those players would be good additions to the LPGA tour.

80th place was $80,642.00

Yokomine easily would have made it with over $191,000 but only two of her tournaments counted.
Sakura Yokomine - LPGA Tour - Golf - Yahoo! Sports

Arimura also would have easily made it with $172,880. She played the same tournaments as Yokomine.

Chie Arimura - LPGA Tour - Golf - Yahoo! Sports

Good picking, Sag.

What does "good additions" mean?

Good because both made enough $$ under your new Rules?

What's your criteria for "good additions?"

Yukari Baba would have also qualified having played in just two tournaments.

Also, Hee Kyung Seo would have qualified twice over. Once by winning the Kia Classic and again by earning enough from the six tournaments she played in.

It was changed to 80.

10. Non-Member Top 80 Category: Each player who, as of the conclusion of the last official LPGA tournament of the previous year, won an amount of money as a non-LPGA member during such year in official LPGA co-sponsored domestic tournaments with fields of 75 or more, that is equal to or greater than the amount of official money won by the player who was in 80th place on the LPGA Official Money List at that time (with priority based on the amount of money won in such tournaments).

Blue,

Of the players that you and others found, which players qualified under current money rules and which players would have qualified if money rules were changed?

Thanks.

If it is 90th rather than 80th, then the dollar amount required is only 63,942.00.

So to the above names you can add:

Yuri Fudoh $74,095 (1 tournament)
Sun Ju-Ahn $73,396 (2 tournaments)
Melissa Reid $71,215 (3 tournaments)
Miki Saiki $70,970 (2 tournaments)

and probably some more

Blue,

For the four players mentioned it appears the earned card situation is this.

Sakura Yokomine Current rules (NO) New rules (YES)
Chie Arimura Current rules (NO) New rules (YES)
Yukari Baba Current rules (NO) New rules (YES)
Hee Kyung Seo Current rules (YES) New rules (YES)

All of the above players are quality players and would be very good additions to the LPGA tour.

I wonder, has Hee Kyung Seo accepted LPGA tour membership for 2011?
