The Race to the CME Globe will start off on the 23rd of January at the first LPGA event of the season: the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. Each player will accumulate points for there chance to win a prize of $1 million dollars at the end of the 2014 season. 2014 LPGA Schedule...

The 2014 LPGA schedule of tournaments includes 32 official events and one tentative tournament, the Portland Classic which is scheduled for late August. The new events increases the number of tournaments by four from 2013 and adds an extra $7,500,000 in prize money. LPGA’s Cristie Kerr announces birth of son...

Cristie Kerr and husband Erik Stevens have become proud parents to a newborn son which they named Mason Kerr Stevens. Kerr shared a picture on instagram and provided a little more information regarding her son birth, indicating he was born via surrogate: which is where a woman carries and delivers a child for another couple or person. Top 10 LPGA Players 2013...

Korean players continue to dominate the Top 10 LPGA Players 2013 with four players coming in the top 10 world rankings for women’s golf. The same amount of players from Korea were in the top 10 last year. The top spot which was held previously by Yani Tseng has been taken over by Inbee Park who has had a stellar season. LPGA golfer Jiyai Shin will focus on Japan tour ...

Former world number 1-ranked LPGA golfer Jiyai Shin agency has stated that she will focus on playing in Japan next year, citing fatigue and exhaustion after splitting her time between United States and Asia tours. Jiyai Shin fell from rank 8th at the end of 2012 to number 16th in the world at the finish of the 2013 scheduled season. Suzann Pettersen wins Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Champi...

Suzann Pettersen successfully defended her title shooting a final-round of 69 or 3-under-par to win the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship and take her 14th career LPGA Tour victory. This is Pettersen fourth victory for 2013 and she is chasing just behind Inbee Park to become the best female ranked golfer in the world. Suzann Pettersen wins the Evian Championship...

Suzann Pettersen has won this years major tournament the Evian Championship. In previous years the tournament was named Evian Masters and was a standard LPGA  tournament. Pettersen shot a score of 68 or 3-under-par on the final day to beat the top ranked ladies amateur golfer Lydia Ko by two shots. This is Pettersen’s second major tournament victory with the other being the 2007 LPGA Championship. Suzann Pettersen wins Safeway Classic...

Suzann Pettersen shot a final-round of 67 or 5-under-par to win this years 2013 Safeway Classic. She finished the tournament with a total of 268 or 20-under-par to win by two strokes over Stacy Lewis and take her 12th LPGA Tour career victory. This is the second time Suzann Pettersen has won the Safeway Classic with her previous win in August 2011.
