The 2013 LPGA Championship is now just three weeks away and for many of the world’s top female golfers this tournament is a must-win event if they are to find form heading into Open season. Inbee Park Wins North Texas LPGA Shootout...

World number one Inbee Park shot a birdie putt on the final hole Sunday to win the North Texas LPGA Shootout. Imbee beat Spain’s Carlota Ciganda by one stroke to capture her third LPGA victory for 2013. The 22-year-old Spaniard Carlota Ciganda held a two-stroke lead over Park following a birdie on the 10th on the final day, she was unable to hold that lead when she double-bogey, bogey the 14th and 15th holes to fall one shot back of Park. Suzann Pettersen winner of 11 LPGA tour tournaments including one major tournement posed naked for ESPN magazine. The 32 year old from Oslo, Norway had no problem joining the list of world famous athletes that have appeared naked. Pettersen is the sixth golfer to pose naked for the ESPN magazine, the others include Christina Kim and Sandra Gal. Lewis Confirmed for Arkansas...

News that ladies world number one Stacy Lewis has confirmed she will play at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship has delighted golf betting fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the American champion in action. Jamie Farr passes on LPGA tournament to Marathon...

The LPGA announced on Tuesday that Marathon Petroleum Corporation has joined the LPGA as a title partner of the Toledo-based tournament. The tournament originally named the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic was named after television actor Jamie Farr, And was founded in 1984 after PGA Tour caddie Judd Silverman, a Toledo local, desired to bring a ladies professional golf tournament to his hometown.
