Maria Hjorth wins Avnet LPGA Classic...

Maria Hjorth has won her fifth-career LPGA Tour victory with a two-shot win over Song-Hee Kim at the Avnet LPGA Classic. Hjorth, shot a 5-under 67 in the final round to take victory after starting the day three shots back from Kim and 16-year-old sponsor’s invite Lexi Thompson who were the third-round leaders. Hjorth recorded four birdies on the front nine of the Crossings Course at Magnolia Grove to take her to the top of the leaderboard. Jiyai Shin is currently ranked 2nd in the world according to the Rolex rankings, behind Yani Tseng as of the 28 of March 2011. Her best ranking ever was number one in the world. She achieved number one ranking just before or as Lorena Ochoa retired and held it until June 21, 2010 when it was taken over by Ai Miyazato. Grace Park and Song-Hee Kim shot rounds of 5-under 67 on Thursday to share the round one lead of the Avnet LPGA Classic. Song-Hee Kim is looking to win her first LPGA victory. While Grace Park is looking for her first LPGA win since 2004. Grace Park, who has been troubled with back injury the last few years stands a good chance after the opening round. Blair O’Neal plays at the Avnet LPGA class...

Usually you will find Blair O’Neal on the LPGA Futures tour. This week she plays on the LPGA Tour for the Avnet LPGA classic on a sponsors exemption. The first round she scored a 5-over-par or 77.  Blair O’Neal Recently posed for Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue recently in which she is promoting Cobra Golf in a Bikini. Grace Park Grace Park, and Song-Hee Kim lead the first round of the Avnet LPGA Classic in Mobile Alabama. They both finished with a 5-under-par 67. Following closely are Karen Stupples, Stacy Lewis who shot a 4-under-par 68 for the day. Defending champion Se Ri Pak sits at joint 3rd place along with Na Yeon Choi, and Angela Oh who shot a 3-under-par 69. Park eagled the par-5 13th and had had five birdies and two bogeys. Stacy Lewis wins Kraft Nabisco Championship...

Stacy Lewis shot a final round 69 finishing with a total of 275 or 13-under-par for the tournament. The 26 year old Lewis beat the defending champion Yani Tseng by three strokes to win her first Major. Stacy Lewis last win was the LPGA NW Arkansas Championship in 2007 where she won the tournament as an amateur. The 2010 LPGA schedule included 31 events with four mid-season cancellations. In all 27 events were played with a total prize money of 43,900,000. Na Yeon Choi, from Korea, topped the official 2010 money list ahead of Jiyai Shin and Cristie Kerr, with earnings of $1,871,166. At the end of the year Jiyai Shin was ranked number one in the world. Cart path relief...

The cart path is a free drop, so one club length from the nearest point. No moving backwards along any line between the spot on the path and flag. Lateral hazard you have options. One of them allows you to go backward as far as you want. You create an imaginary line from the flag to the entry spot, and extend the line backward and drop on this extended line. Radar Golf System...

I’ve been thinking of buying one of these for a while now. The golf course I play at has fairly narrow fairways, and a rough that stand higher then my waist. I hit the ball fairly far, however accuracy is a problem on this course as a few degrees off and you spend the time looking for your golf ball in the rough.
