Na Yeon Choi Hana Bank KOLONNa Yeon Choi from South Korea shot a 5-under-par on the final day of the tournament to win the Hana Bank KOLON Championships. Choi scored a total of 10-under-par (206) over the three days to beat Yani Tseng and Maria Hjorth by one stroke. This is Choi’s second win for the year earlier in the year she won the Samsung World Championship taking home $250,000 for winning the tournament.

She received $255,000 for winning the KOLON Championships giving her a total of $1,221,359 for 2009. This places her 5th on the 2009 money list and 11th on the Rolex Rankings.

The best one day score over the 3 days was from Meaghan Francella and Anna Grzebien who both scored a 66 on the first day.

Hana Bank KOLON Championships is a women’s golf tournament on the LPGA of Korea Tour, and co-sanctioned by the LPGA Tour. The tournament has been played since 2002 with the majority of the winners being from South Korea. For the last 3 years the tournament has been held at the Sky 72 Golf Club, Ocean Course.
